Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, April Phillips has been singing and entertaining audiences since a young age. April’s voice is the perfect blend of bold and classic country. A compliment from a fan that April is particularly fond of is when after a performance, a person from the audience came up to her and said, “I am not a fan of country music, but you sure could make me one!”
April Phillip’s professional singing career is beginning to accelerate. She is excited to now be working with Dan Hodges Music. April recently obtained her first of many original songs written by some of Hodges most talented writers such as Jeff Hurst and Nashville Recording Artist Whitney Duncan. Recently April has been named the opening act for many artists including John Anderson and Blake Shelton and has shared the stage with some of the region’s best country artists.
April made her television debut as the “Producer’s Pick” in the search for “The Next GAC Star” on Nashville’s GAC TV in 2008. April’s video of Patsy Cline’s Crazy stood out from thousands of entries to receive critical acclaim from industry experts. April has hand selected a group of premier musicians to augment her versatile vocal style. Their blend of talent and experience ensures a bright future for this up and coming Country Music Artist.
