My name is James R. Patterson. I'm an aritist, who was born raised and continues to reside in Philadelphia Pa.
Since my name is the same as a well known Author "James Patterson", I sign my work as Areeez. Areeez is, a spin on my astrological sign Aries. I came up with it, during a brief interest in Astrology, a few years ago.
I'm primarily self taught, but did learn a few tricks, after I enrolled in CCP, at the age of 25 and so on.
My artistic style, is somewhat of a realist, ...morebut I try to keep it loose, as much as possible.
I draw, paint and sometimes sculpt. I work in graphite, charcoal, pastels, water color, gouache, acrylic and oil paint.
My subjects are, usually Portraits, landscapes and still life's. I also do posters, book covers and the like. less |
