Im a college student from the UK who has taken part in a number of performances all kicking off when i was in my second to last year of High School (Don't worry those from America the schooling system is different over here, we finish High School at age 16)
So in year 10, (second to last year) I did my first play "Oh, What a lovely war!" which got me recognised by a local drama group who wanted me to play Bill Sykes in a Production of the none musical "Oliver Twist". After that production I p ...morelayed The Queens Chamberlain in a bigger pantomime production of "Snow White".
I did a play for the 1 act play festival in stoke on trent called "Chatrooms" and won best under 16 actor in Stoke on Trent, I then went on to perform in a few short films. In the Easter I played Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone then I came runner up in the best actor under 21 catagory in the april for playing numerous roles in a production of "Much Ado About Clubbing"
Since then I have been in "Dracula" playing Dr Van Helsing.
My next official performance will be with the adult rep later next year, i have been asked to perform with the adults in a Shakespeare production which is quite daunting, although which of his plays it will be I am yet to see.
Also in the Mean time I will be making a few short films with friends of mine which i will hopefully post on here. less |
