| A brief his-story. Left school early to help support mum after family breakdown. Trained as a carpenter for three years, a butcher for six months, worked for my dad as a white goods repair man ( most of the time was spent organising the chaos that he called a business). Short stint on the streets, met an older woman... moved in... Relationship breakdown... introduction to farther hood, three years attempting to make relationship work for the sake of my daughter, slogging guts out on various fact ...moreory production lines... Failed to sustain relationship. Move to live with Dad (swollowing a lump of pride on the way). Found local amature theatre group, joined, praised, reveared, encouraged. Audition for drama school, Accepted, won part scholarship. Finnished course with extra bonus of being awarded the outstanding achievment award. Several theatre tours, national and international. Lived in Brighton UK, found some people I love. Had to move home, seperated from the people I could understand. Decided to make a move into TV and film (where the money was, so I could move back to Brighton), culture shock... couldn't even get audition, started to become very aware of myself, couldn't deal with the lack of response, or regection of my previous work and my look (CV and head shot). Shunned the industry and considered myself above it on a higher artistic plane... Hit 30, clearer realisation of self, life and everything. Understand my fate... pick up a pencil and start to draw..... lets see where I go! less |
