He is the comedic wheel ...moreman, taking audiences on a conceptual joyride fueled by an overactive imagination. Along the way, they find humor on every corner, and taboos thrown into the ditch like a drifter with no money for gas. Ricky Star started his stand up comedy career in 1989 in his home town of Mount Holly,New Jersey at his High School Talent Show . His act developed at an incredible rate, and within the first few months he quickly started catching the eyes and ears of club owners and comics in the stand up circuit. He quickly became a regular host at the New York Comedy Clubs Open Mic Night.Where he honed his skill for working with an audience and generating tons of fresh, original, A-list material. From there he progressed to working just about every comedy club, and one-nighter in the area, and became a regular at the New York Comedy Club. In 1992, Ricky landed a role as a Cop in a televison drama such as Guardian Angels in 1995 and went on to use his talent to make people laugh for a good cause by doing Comedy Shows for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. After being invited to the Boston Comedy Festival,Ricky quickly made a name for himself in the circuit as a strong writer with the performance to match.Which gained him even more acclaim in the entertainment industry. Ricky Star continues to work the comedy club circuit in New York city and comedy clubs across the country, continually writing and performing new material. less |

I know I am supposed to list my intrests but I have something to say.
"My Aunt Geraldine died of breast cancer. She was a beautiful woman. I was close to her because she looked just like my Mom, almost identical.
One thing I will always remember her saying "Look at my Star...you are a Star keep pushing you'll make it!"
Everytime I talk about this it makes me cry. I haven't given up Aunt Gerdy... I Love You |

The Ricky Star Show is an American Comedy Sketch show starring Comedian Ricky Star and created by Ricky,produced by Ricky directed by Ricky even the camera guy is also Ricky.
A typical episode would begin with Ricky doing random situation sketches or Characters like Pookey the Pimp or Milford the retard from Harlem.
