| About Me: |
My name is Mark Mentzer.
I am a graphic designer, cartoonist, animator, web and business presentation designer. This site is meant to show you examples of my work.

I call myself "New Media Pioneer". And for a good reason. I started using computers to create presentations in 1986. And I've been creating websites since 1995.
My professional animation experience goes back to 1972 when I worked for Hanna Barbera where I worked on the Tom ...moreand Jerry show.
My experience dates back to the 1970s. I went to the School of Visual Arts where I majored in Media Arts/Animation. At that time SVA was an art school, not an accredited college.
I made a cartoon and brought it out to Hollywood where I got work as an assistant animator for Hanna Barbera working on the "Tom & Jerry Show" (a cartoon that dates back to the 1940s, this was the revival in the 70s.) I had the pleasure of working for Kenneth Muse (one of the original animators from the 1940s). I also worked as an assistant animator for Filmation Studios on the "Fat Albert Show". Besides this I worked on the original "Star Wars". I worked in the special effects department.
I am a graphic designer who creates print work (business cards, brochures etc.) and logos. As a cartoonist I create original cartoons and animation. My foray into interactive arts was when I worked at MTV Networks/Viacom creating multimedia presentations for the ad sales and marketing departments. Besides working for MTV Networks I worked for the World Wrestling Federation (now World Wrestling Entertainment) as an art director. I did all the splash screens promoting the event for the night. I also specialized in "talent" websites creating sites for the Rock, Mick Foley (Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack), The Dudley Boyz, Chris Jericho, Triple-H, D-Generation X, Chyna Kurt Angle, and more. When WWF bought WCW from Ted Turner I created their site too. Most of this work can be seen on http://www.markmentzer.com
You can also see much of my work on my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/markmm1953.
So, look at my work and let it speak for itself and if you're of need of any of these services please contact me here.
Thanks, Mark Mentzer less |
