My paintings come from the heart and soul. I get inspired from many things in life from nature to people. I love capturing colors and movement in a painting. That is just a few of the things that capture my attention to be inspired to do a painting and I to capture that for the viewer. I use pictures that were taken on sight and in some cases rough drafts.
When I sale a painting it gives me the satisfaction ...moreof knowing that the collector sees what I was feeling at the time when I was painting that particular painting.
Pat is a native Texan formerly of Port Arthur and is now a resident of San Marcos. Pat is an autodidact artist and her choices of mediums are oils and pastels. She has been commissioned for several portraits and has artwork in private collectors. Pat has participated in many art shows and has been awarded several awards (Port Arthur, Nederland, Humble, Wimberley, and, San Marcos) She was a former member of Nederland Art League, Port Arthur Art League, and Wimberley Art League. Pat is a current member of the San Marcos Art League.
