Casting:

Auditions to take place October-November. SHOOTING: Beginning of December in Philadelphia, PA. Key location will be a cemetery. The film will be shot on 16mm and be about 15 minutes long. All food and transportation fees will be provided. All expenses will be covered/reimbursed. A copy of the final film will be promptly delivered upon completion as your pay. The film will be entered in several festivals when completed. SYNOPSIS: "Puncture" is a supernatural horror/thriller film with a theme of female empowerment. It follows Beth and Jane as they encounter a group of vampires and are turned against their will into vampires themselves. They must decide whether to use their powers for good or evil. All actors must be comfortable with special effects makeup. CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS: Beth (lead) must look 20-25 years old. Brunette, slender build, caucasian. She has a paranoid personality and not very trustworthy of new people. She is also an attractive woman but not conceited. She is very shy and lets Jane make decisions for her. Jane (lead) must look 20-25 years old. Blonde, slender build, Caucasian. She is very outgoing and energetic. She is the life of the party and likes to do dangerous things. She is attractive and knows it. She influences Beth throughout the whole film. Garrett (lead) must look 22-28 years old. Dark hair (preferably black hair), Very tall and slender, attractive, dresses very trendy. He is the leader of the vampires. Garrett has an arrogant personality. He knows he is powerful and carries himself that way. Trent (supporting) must look 20-28 years old. He is tall, slender, attractive and dresses trendy. He is a vampire along with Garrett. He acts very cool and sarcastic. Lilith (supporting) must look 20-28 years old. A pretty and very caddy vampire, Lilith thinks she is god’s gift to Earth. She is a very jealous person and doesn’t like other beautiful women. Pierce (supporting) must look 20-28 years old. Tall, thin, attractive. He is a vampire. He has a cool demeanor. Dresses very trendy. Young Beth (supporting) age 10-16. must look young and have dark hair and be of small build. Young Jane (supporting) age 10-16 must look young and have blond hair and be of small build. Robert (supporting) must look 25-35. he is an attractive guy. He is very arrogant and full of himself. Robert harasses Beth at a club. Matt (supporting) 20-30 age range. He looks like your average club go-er. He is dressed nice. Mike (supporting) 20-30 age range. He also looks like a club go-er and is dressed nice. Extras for a bar scene. Age range 18-35. Must be dressed trendy.
