PROJECT: "DISPARITY" CASTING CALL CATEGORY: STUDENT FILM LOCATION: PHILADELPHIA, PA After ending their relationship six months ago, two very different characters indulge in a night of drinking and have sex. The film explores a more classical shooting style versus an existential shooting technique that parallels the two separate reactions to the night before. Kate is confronted with feelings of guilt and responsibility while Robby seems to have no reaction at all, but wanders aimlessly in his world of emptiness. All shooting will take place in five different locations in Philadelphia. All food and transportation fees will be provided. All expenses will be covered/reimbursed. Shooting will begin in early January and may extend into February. A copy of the final film will be delivered. ROBBY Confident, a boyish charm, brief surges of inspiration, college dropout, could care less about a career, lives in the moment, is never afraid to smile, eats lemon wedges, picks up things lying on the sidewalk that catch his eye, loves kids, a writer, lives with no purpose, heavy drinker, down to his last dime, believes in nothing, loves Kate but knows they will never work as a couple.
