| I have been an artist all of my life. I am am mom to two wonderful people and a Gramma to three! I was born and raised in Long Beach, California by wonderful, fun loving parents who encouraged me to paint. At 11 I did a painting of Mahatma Ghandhi and won an award for it which validated me. I was so proud! I painted lots of Indian children and babies, Jesus in the garden praying, animals and I would draw the sunbathers at the beach where we were raised. My wonderful 50's life with the King and Q ...moreueen of the beach, my sunworshipping parents. My dad was intrumental in getting the first man on the moon and my mom is a awesome singer, charity worker and was a great 50's mom to four kids and went on to be a corporate executive. My education in art has been to a large degree self taught. I was a young mother at just 17 and forfeited my art scholarship to become a parent and wife. I would do art daily, creating my own styles. Years later I learned quite a bit about art from a master artist Micheal Whipple/Sky Jones from the Banker Art Museum which I am forever grateful. It is my passion to create beautiful art that is uplifting to the viewer. I bring my heart into each piece and allow what to come through as loving entities. I am aware of the divine presence of God Goddess and intend to bring forth a sense of in my art. I am so thankful for my gift of art. I love to encourage everyone I can to create..I believe that there is a artist that lives in all of us, after all...we all did pretty much the same art in Kindergarden! I believe we can out create the bad with good and beauty out there. SO MAKE SOMETHING, Anything..GET CREATIVE!! Just follow your excitement! Walk through a art supply store sometime like Micheal's..so much there to make things! My main subject in my art is usually feminine, manifested as Goddess, angels, mermaids and fairies set in a peaceful world or on some fantastic plane. I have varied styles and work in most mediums, preferring acrylics, pen, pencil, water colors, oils, spray paints and pastels. I love to paint on Masonite Panels the best. I have created what I call She Shells which are pencil/paint cameos on shells since 1988, creating thousands of them and using them for my currency many times. I also paint miniatures on glass and stones, universe boxes,sculptures called The Elfun's and the Whimsey's..so many things, I paint on everything! I write children’s and young at heart stories and illustrate them and have them on my website to copy for a donation to me and my children's charities through the State of Grace Museum along with my art. I also just love to paint fantasy murals which I am available to do if you want me to! Just pay for my keep and give me a place to sleep and compensation! My love for children also has brought me to become a successful international face and body artist. I create detailed paintings on them to their complete joy. I have painted at many parties, studios and events for celebrities and all around the world. My lovely daughter Andria von Lossberg maintains a private gallery in Hamburg, Germany of my work. She is a talented Mehndi, body painter and makeup artist whose creations are completely inspired by her loving heart. My paintings have been shown internationally to many thousands of people in museum and visionary art shows in Germany, Maui, Canada, Mexico, Holland, USA, Italy and England. I have created over ten thousand pieces of art at least. Many celebrities own pieces done by me such as Elizabeth Taylor, Barbra Streisand, Shirley Mac Laine, Julie Andrews, Olivia Newton John, Jack Nicholson, Carrie Fisher and Tracy Ulman.
