The bad part is that I got so wrapped up in photographing it, that I got too close and actually touched it! I had the eepy-jeemies all night! lol!

Your guess was really close, but it is a huge garden spider. It measured about 4-5 inches in length(legs included)and lived by my deck! If you look at the contest, "Creepy Crawlies" you will see the full picture of where this came from.

OMG...It DOES look like a potatoe tee hee!!!! But, it looks like a Steer carved out in the middle...and it's like the PERFECT carving on each side too!!! Garsh...I LOVE these guessing games :D!!! hee hee

uhm....it's either snake skin...or some sort of piece of wood, w/ a bull carved in the middle of it??? Was i close???!!! Ahhhh...come on...ya gotta let me know, tee hee :D!!! That WAS a kewl contest the person came up with!!!! :)
