I saw this on the new media listed and swore it was a photo of Ricks cat! You did such an amazing job on this! I started a contest for photos of cats, but I'm going to try to change it so that it includes drawings! It's breathtaking!

Kathy, I tried new pencils with this one instead of my usual prismacolors. This was done with oil based Pablo Caran d'Ache. Plus I love using black paper, it makes the colors pop. Oh, and I use alot of layers! There's 8-10 on the eyes.

This is wonderful Rhonda, but I have to ask... What kind of colored pencils are you using? Mine never look this good, the colors are pale.

Thank you! The drawing is actually more grey fur like Kush, but I couldn't get it to photograph well. So much for my photography skills lol
