Hi Randiman - thank you for the kind words. The "Dying Sunflower" started with three, one stop brackets that I stacked to make a fairly natural looking HDR color version. Then I converted to monochrome and applied a split tone effect.

The photo that you asked about is by my house. Its the Flint River. I've floated down in many times in my canoe, had picnics on the banks, and even camped on it lots of times! Its a great spot!
