Is the light hitting diff. materials, anatomy, perpective, colors, composition, creativity, etc? I will skip voting if common ground is a big stretch, but often I will fall back on accuracy or impact in a tie

I think with so many different styles and the fact of comparing a Landscape to a portrait is very difficult. On the other hand I am glad there is a contest specifically for oil painters, there are so few.

fujiart, I think this is very good, (this coming from a portrait artist) but your light source and some of the shadowing confuses me a little... seems you have multiple light sources.
