There are several here that don't grow in my area...thanks to all for giving us a glimpse of the beauty that we don't get to see normally! They are all wonderful!

I love ANY Columbine flower... regardless of color... but this one is exquisite! And the apple blossoms look like porcelain, as does your "Rose in Pose" Rick! Ah! These are all so very beautiful!!

Hi Janese and all, I have also seen these growing along the banks of the bayous in Louisiana. It always amazed me how the flower changed colors. A beautiful thing - just like the photo! jmpence, I love your state's "Texas Buttercups" too.

I agree with jmpence, the Lantana grew all over the Island of Guam, it was beautiful in very large groupings. It comes in other colors.

I've never seen Lantana before...where does it grow?

5/1/2009 3:55 PM
Lantana is one of my favorite flowers, but it doesn't grow well outdoors here in Idaho. I had it growing in my house for several years, but it eventually died. Wish I had saved some seeds! Great entries, everyone!

The bleeding heart is perfect, and Sheri, you did and awesome job on those apple blossoms! Both of the roses are breathtaking, and the sunflower is so striking against the dark background! I'm proud to be among you!
