Thanks, Lori! The image you see here was taken from a 60" by 60" by 4" oil on canvas that's still for sale at the low, low price of $3500. You can purchase it at my web site page: http://stores.planetzootopia.com /Detail.bok?no=82

We must fight to preserve our sovereignty as individuals, our FREEDOM, and on this 4th of July, we should take a stand against the reckless folks in Washington & tell them to STOP this obscene wasting of our hard-earned money.

We ALL enjoy that freedom, Dan...at least, for now. Understand that the theme of my oil painting is about the erosion of this very freedom & our sovereign rights as citizens, when the Fed taxes us & spends itself into the ground.

and have more resource controlled by the government. Sighting that he alone is the answer. WQhen in reality he is only a fear baron.

fish but you do have the freedom to voice that opinion in open forum without fear for you life. Its amazing how many people feel the way you do but still voted obama into office after he openly wants to take more freedoms away from people

In essence, as we enjoy the gift of free will, or freedom, so must we be cursed by it; paradoxically, we are cursed by the incessant responsibility of making choices about how we will live our lives just as we celebrate that same freedom.

On this 4th of July, 2009, what is at stake for all of us is our individual sovereignty - the inalienable right to determine the course of our own lives, and to endure the consequences of OUR own choices, not the Federal government's.

In the title, FORFEIT OF FREEDOM, the forfeiture I'm referring to is the loss of sovereignty we citizens suffer as taxation exceeds a reasonable limit, and we become enslaved by a government that thinks IT is the answer to our suffering.

The full title is, 'THE FORFEIT OF FREEDOM: A Nation in Mourning,' the meaning of which lies in this tagline: "I remain as free as nature first made man. Ere the base laws of servitude began, when wild in the woods the naked savage ran."

I'm honestly a little disappointed. Not many of these have anything to do with with our freedom or Independence

Neat entries! Mine is best viewed large...compression kills a lot of these beautiful images.
