wish I could read into the future... dunno... once I send them off it usually takes weeks before I get color keys, then more time passes before I get a final copy of the actual book, signed by the author, and one to sign for her/him.

I think you call it "constructive criticism" or you go here in the UK! Being malicious is childish. I've had some peices of mine shamed, which is ok, I dont mind, but I would like to know WHY!

we all get shamed at one time or another for various reasons...send taltopia a message, ask them to reinstate the image and they usually do. In the shameless self promotion department... Zony is a cross between a zebra and a horse.

My only critism I will voice is the lack of explanation in anyone shaming work!! Its all well and good "shaming" something, but a decent explanation as to "why" would do anyone any harm

I can live with that. It's when the work fails to get any response whatsoever that I begin to question my choices and whether I have deluded myself into thinking that what I do is even worth doing.

I do not make any assumptions regarding the popularity of my work, save one: that it will be rejected by most and misunderstood by even more. Mine is a very narrow niche, indeed, so the majority of responses fall in the 'awful' category.

I'm not crying foul or implying any wrong-doing here - probably just a coincidence, however unlikely - but an open invitation to act mischievously is built into the scoring system, with no recourse on the part of the recipient.

No proof of this, but it's either a random 'drive-by' de-faming or someone who harbors a grudge against me: After consecutively uploading three new images, I immediately noticed three consecutive negative scores - more than a coincidence?

Talk about cheap shots...seems there's a 'drive-by' de-famer in our midst. No real harm, of course, but what a cowardly act this is, unsportsman-like. Compare your scores with vote tallies.

UPDATE: I changed the description to include PEOPLE in the criteria for acceptable submissions, and I also changed the media requirement to include PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL ART . We humans are animals and cannot be excluded from this genre.
