7/7/2009 12:45 PM
Congratulations, Denny! As promised, in addition to a whopping sum total of 12 whole Famebucks you'll be receiving a signed and numbered 14" by 11"matted print of ECSTASEA from Fyshwerks Studio Gallery.

Congrats on the win, Denny. Love your work.

7/5/2009 7:49 AM
Great to be in the lineup guys! And the drive-by shamers can eat my glow-in-the-dark poster board paint!!

...enlighten and replenish, to uplift and restore the psyche of our culture...but I digress.

...should ever be linked to a work of creation. Our world would be a cold place indeed if not for the contributions made by artists in their never-ending quest to lift the human spirit out of the doldrums of subsistence, as well as to...

...for someone to hit the button of shame, requiring an effort that might actually discourage the average, 'drive-by' de-famer. Shame is what a bigot should feel when confronted with their own narrow-mindedness; it's not a word that...

...up and bit him in the arse. Art appreciation isn't a casual endeavor - it requires an intellectual as well as emotional expenditure of energy, and it demands a small investment of personal time, too. It should be very, very difficult...

7/4/2009 10:29 PM
Of course, fame rhymes with shame, and it's an all too precious coincidence, but I still don't like the idea of some still-wet-behind-the-ears punk driving by and sticking a label of 'shame' on artwork he or she couldn't understand if it...

7/4/2009 10:21 PM
I used the expression, 'drive-by' de-faming, but the buttons are labeled 'fame' & 'shame.' The latter's a pretty strong word to cavalierly offer any Joe Browser who stumbles upon your work, when given the choice of thumbs-up or thumbs-down.

7/4/2009 8:17 PM
shortcomings, and make themselves feel more important! Don't let it bother you, Patrick...your art speaks for itself!

7/4/2009 8:15 PM
The person who is ranked #1 on this entire site for his incredible photography, has been "shamed" more times than I can count! It's a very childish way for some people to try to discourage other artists! Probably trying to hide their own

7/4/2009 7:55 AM
This is an awesome idea and a great "prize package" idea!! You Rock and Zootopia Rules!

7/1/2009 6:35 PM
Ditto that, Karen!

6/30/2009 10:43 AM
fun contest and fantastic entries!

6/29/2009 8:18 PM
Gotcha...some people do that and it is quite irksome. Not entirely sure why anyone would defame your amazing work. Jealousy? Ya got fames from me!

6/28/2009 1:08 PM
Not this contest; I'm referring to your My Media scoring.

6/28/2009 1:03 PM
I'm not crying foul or implying any wrong-doing here - probably just a coincidence, however unlikely - but an open invitation to act mischievously is built into the scoring system, with no recourse on the part of the recipient.

6/28/2009 12:49 PM
No proof of this, but it's either a random 'drive-by' de-faming or someone who harbors a grudge against me: After consecutively uploading three new images, I immediately noticed three consecutive negative scores - more than a coincidence?

6/28/2009 8:28 AM
not sure I understand Patrick...what happened??

6/28/2009 8:21 AM
Talk about cheap shots...seems there's a 'drive-by' de-famer in our midst. No real harm, of course, but what a cowardly act this is, unsportsman-like. Compare your scores with vote tallies.

6/19/2009 8:49 AM
denny and fish you both gotmy vote very nice love the detail.

6/15/2009 7:51 PM
Holy sh_t, Denny! Like I said in another post, time to sharpen my pencil. What the heck do you do in your spare time, blink?

6/15/2009 10:09 AM
Denny you rock! I can not say enough about how phenomenal your work is. It leaves a person breathless and in complete awe.

6/9/2009 10:32 AM
phenomenal entries,I'm proud to be amongst you guys!

6/9/2009 7:40 AM
Thanks guys! This was my first shot at a reaper, glad you like it...

6/8/2009 2:10 PM
that is a very cool reaper. I have a thing for wings and your wings are way yummy!

6/8/2009 9:06 AM
Wow! I hear the distant echo of BROM and Frazetta, Mark. This piece drips with 'grim' gorgeousity.

6/7/2009 10:08 PM
Footnote: Picasso once said, "Good artists borrow, but great artists steal." Not that I use that as a license to steal or anything...
