I have another painting that I did of the old barn we played in as kids. I might post that to my site here later. It was in Woodland, PA, not far from where Penn State University is.

This builder actually built a giant dining table for his log home from one board for the table top that was over 30" wide and 15 feet long! You just don't see boards like anymore! Long live the old barns!!

When I was living in SC, I met a log home builder who was buying up these reclaimed barns from the Amish. It was great seeing the wood getting used for the new square-beamed log homes!

Great contest guys! I grew up in Central PA and I was surrounded by many, many of the monuments of history. It was so sad to see many of these beauties just left deteriorate.
