It sure does. See how the trees are darker as they get closer. And the hills in the far back are so much lighter. Fits perfectly. Good job.

And artistic artisan. great job, love the colors and the horizon is how aerial perspective is done with the artists medium. Just enough to give it depth.

to the extreme (while living in Alaska) I would look at the Alaska mountain range every day. Depending on the atmospheric pressure the range would be bigger or smaller. Some days it would move even. So weird it makes a person feel uneasy.

Yea, to some extent. I was put to this task in college and I learned to look at things a bit different. Some things are more extreme than others. for instance a mirage.

Janese yours fits. See how much detail is lost the further away it gets? And the waves turn into one hue towards the horizon? That is aerial perspective. I think yours is fine.

I'm in with Mt. Huff. It was taken from the top of a mountain, looking over the valley to Mt. Huff in the distance.

Hope so. I really set thins up to go with the first perspective contest. I just think if we are aware of these perspective properties when we shoot it will make us better photographers.

Your shot is perfect. The values change on the trees as they get further away.

anything where the atmosphere effects things. Mine for example was an attempt to focus on the foreground so I made the background lighter and less defined. Jacqueeg's is a good example. The background is much lighter. Great job Jacqueeg.

OK, look at the photo by the contest rules. notice that the hills in the background are much lighter than the tree in the foreground. That is aerial perspective. Also things like a mirage or like the sun is huge when it sets over the ocean.

They both work. Jacqueeg's is more so.Aerial perspective is how things that get farther away get lighter and less detailed. See Jacqueeg's and the tree is darker than the background. That is a good example. So is the example for the contest
