I guess I should start by introducing myself. My name is Dave Castle but I use to draw under the name of Cresswell but changed it back to my PRE ADOPTED name of Castle when I was due to get married.
I've been learning my chosen ...moreart form of fine illustration of erotica/fetish for a good 20 years now and always looking to learning more about drawing and art. I have in the past been published by a few publishing houses such as IPC, Gallery, Invitation Press and the Violet Media Corp. I could go on but wouldn't want to bore you, and it has been a few years now....
After taking what seems an eternity off - and being nagged for nearly just as longer time than by more than just a few people to come back and.......... "do something with my life" - I've found that the itch in my right hand is back and I'm drawing like a nutter again.
My medium is usually pencil and in most cases I'll use a full spectrum of graphite, from 4H to 8B in one illustration. It takes a little longer to achieve a finished piece, but I find it gives me the depth to a piece I enjoy.
I do work in both Acrylics as well as watercolors but have not anything to display as yet. But trust me it is on its way.
As for my subject matter, well I couldn't find something more beautiful than the human form. With the variations most forms of erotica images have to them, with materials and textures like PVC; wood; leather; chrome and all kinds of uniforms and outfits together with skin tones....Need I go on......it is an artist's dream!!
What more can I say.

Well I love nothing more than to put on a pair of Scarpa's. Stick my nuts in a rock face and go climbing. But unfortunately I haven't had much time for that of late.
I feel at home under and on the water. i guess growing up in a sea side town kind of brings that out of you lol!!
I studied martial arts for a little under 16 years with RYU NINJITSU being my chosen form. Now I have quit the smoking I'm looking forward to getting back into something similar again.
Then of course where would I be ...morewithout my Art. I guess lost and without a soul. It is my life. To loose my right hand would be to loose me my life. less |
