Description
This contest is solely for the abandoned and forgotten buildings that dot the countryside with their mysterious beauty. There is a certain charm about abandonments and the history and stories that go along with them.

Requirements
This contest is for anyone. Your submission must contain an abandoned building shot from the inside or outside. Cemeteries are not considered to be abandonments even if it's overgrown and neglected, no cemeteries please.

people I had to beg and plead for support because their lives are otherwise too busy posting profile pictures to myspace to do it here. I can't change theirs, but I can change mine... better?

So, as a newbie, I don't know any better, and it seems to be a recurring subject. Are there any known or repeat offenders, who we should watch for or report, should they try to represent themselves in future contests?

Let's hope that we, as actual artists, can get a foothold before the shallow cyber vote whores get here and turn the site into a popularity contest, screwing over its members by voting themselves in with 1,000 different accounts
