It gets a very good response when I played it live, at regular gigs people request it often...I've got a lot of mileage out of this one...

thanks so much! Yes I did write it, about 4 years ago on a dare from another musician friend that I couldn't write a ballad/Jim Croce-esque song...I don't think it's very Jim Croce like but he hasn't dared me since!
