Doodles...I SO LOVE the way the sunbeams are BURSTING out of that HUGE bunch of clouds :)!!! It's so MYSTICAL!!! Looks like the Heavens are LITERALLY opening up!!! Good luck on this contest :)!!!

Sheesh! If you say yours is a sunrise, then it's a sunrise, and brightness will always be a relative quantity. Stopping by here to read these comments always makes me sleepy...zzzzzzzzzzz.

I think sometimes you can, Meri, but some sunsets and sunrises do look much alike. I can guarantee mine is a sunrise..I was half asleep when I took that shot. LOL
