Thanks Ldermid75... that the insect was a Yellow Jacket. He just sat there and stared around at the surroundings. This was in a Botanical Garden in Charleston, Oregon and he was there for the whole 2 hours I was walking around the gardens.

what? no ants? did you know that the total mass of ants outwiegh us humans? I dont know which is more amazin....that fact or how the person counted that many ants.
