The judge said in my case that he gave extra consideration to reading what I had written about the pain I went through on a day to day basis. Good luck with it!!!

It took me 2 years, a laywer, and a trial...but it was worth it! Make sure you document everything! (expenses, treatment, pain control,...etc.) It would even help if he kept a journal about what he's gone through and how he feels everyday!

I'm so glad that Shane's doing well!!! it took me a long time to get ss, but don't give up! They have to pay you retro from the time you started trying to get it. that back pay can really help him with college or his expenses!
