My education is in engineering, and I also minored in drafting and design. I own a home theatre company that allows me to build very cool and very expensive, theme rooms in peoples homes. I guess that is where I get the ability to build the works of art I do....Anyways...About 10 months ago I bought a house across the street from me and kicked out the crack-heads, and I turned it into an art studio......Now I can come home from work and than work on my art until 3:00 in the morning.......Not the ...more smartest thing I ever done, but I have fun. My neighbors say they went from crack-heads to a crack-pot and sometimes they miss the druggy’s because they didn’t make as much noise in the middle of the night.
My biggest inspiration is my family. I have this really cool and hot looking Lady that I have been in love with for 21yrs and we are very happy. I think God was smiling on me right before he did it to her! anyways ..I got the better end of that deal because of her tolerance of my crazy ideas. We have 2 children 1-12yr old girl and a 17yr old boy....I never understood true unconditional love until they came along and that passion is the center from which I draw my inspiration
I work mostly with Venetian Plaster (Mud from Marble dust) and you apply it with a putty knife and sand it down to a 600 grid fine sand paper and it gets real shiny like glass. I can’t find anyone else that works with it as a medium so I have many unanswered questions I am hopeful someone will run across this and help me. As you can see I also do a lot of 3D stuff to my art. less |
