I am an artist: Over the summer, I found a part of ...moreme that has been missing. I found that I can paint. I've never done a painting on my own. Not like that. I had purchased oil paints one christmas, and never used them. I kept them in a place where no oil paints will ever go again, in my disgusting room in a corner. I took those, picked up the canvas that was sitting in my hallway for days, and started off with some graphite lines resembeling Heath Ledger. I am a writer: I wish I wrote more than I do, but I don't. I can get as deep as the silent ocean. I'll describe my newest favorite film, Death Defying Acts. "On the cover was the seductive eyes of Catherine Zeta Jones. As my eyes scaned the cover of this, I discovered that inside was a film based on the magic man himself, Harry Houdini. Just saying that name, thinking it, hearing it, makes you think of the wondrous world of magic. Pure imagination. Water. The substance that will now remain magical to my eyes. Houdini was a man of wonder, brilliance, science, and kindness. This movie taught me that life is magical, you just have to make your own magic." less |
