Description
This is a photo copied straight from my old photo album. (Might need to enlarge this one to see it) This is a pic of my step-Dad at an event some California beach people may know. It's a "SOUPA" held in Arroyo Grande California in the spring of the year. Local farmers take a whole side of beef and cook it in the ground in a pit, then put it in broth and pour it over huge hunks of home made bread! Yummy. Everyone gets a beer and can eat as much as they like, as long as they keep putting money into a big glass jar on the table! They also hold a car show and an auction. All is run on donations and the proceeds goto needy families in the area. I took this on my first Nikon and I wasn't even in High School yet, maybe I was a Freshman, somewhere around then. That's when I knew I loved to take pictures!
