Description
The fire raged on the outside and filled the rooms with the eerie glow of its flames. I stumbled about from room to room, searching for an exit, but was met with flames and smoke at every turn. Exhausted and barely able to breathe, I fell to the ground and began to crawl. In the distance, I saw stairs emerge as if by magic, twisting up and up into the void. I could hear soft voices calling me from the darkness above and with a sudden calm, I knew this was my only way out. I felt the sensation of floating as I began to ascend the stairs...
