Well, as much as I appreciate Elvis, I opted to perform an alternate version of this song. I guess I'm just trying to avoid getting billed as an Elvis "want-to-be" - which it may all ready be too late for that lol.
This arrangement was made popular by a 70's Australian pop star by the name of Lee Towers. His voice tends to remind a lot of Tom Jones at times, but I was struck by this beautiful arrangement.
I must admit that here of late, I have starting to run out of ideas for my videos from a visual stand point mainly due to a shortage of "free stuff", and limited funds lol. I received a very kind email from a gentleman stating that all the glitz wasn't needed. I dunno, I guess coming from a theatrical background, and being a perfectionist on top of that drives me to produce videos that are a bit prettier to look at than the hulking gorilla you see delivering the vocals lol.
So...this time....I decided to make this one simple. I just threw it together with some beautiful shots of some storm clouds - I love storm clouds by the way - go figure. Anyway, I hope that you all enjoy, and that all comments and feedback are welcome and appreciated.
As a message of hope for the times that we are presently in, God can help us press on and weather through any storm that comes into our lives. If there is one thing I have learned in life, its that if at times you don't feel as close to God as you once did...its not him that has moved...it is us.
Thank you all, and God Bless.
