Description
This is a Prismacolor pencil drawing. To blend the color evenly, I mask the areas around selected color-fields with Friskfilm, cutting along the graphite sketch lines on the museum board with an x-acto blade, lay in broad strokes of Prismacolor, push the pigment around with my fingertips - dampened with a little mineral spirits - layer more color on top of the Prismacolor penciled areas, then draw the details that define the finished piece.
