My Prison

My Prison I'm serving out my time My prison is my life And all that I have done Cuts through me like a knife I have made mistakes And the things that I've done wrong Have become the chorus Which stands out from my song Seems there's nothing I can do To prove that their not right They'll always look upon me In a negative light So always being doubted Is the sentence I must serve Paying for mistakes Against those that I have hurt So I will serve my time In this prison I call life Hoping things will change Trying to make it right
