It Was Mine I've fallen into an abyss Into a canyon filled with pain The despair it falls upon me Like cold hard drops of rain Looking back to find The beginning of my end All I found was you You said you were my friend You took my very soul It's broken through and through This hurt I feel inside This pain, was caused by you Yes, to err is human I know forgiveness is divine But forgetting's not an option You took something that was mine Yes right now I suffer But soon it is your turn To hurt someone is wrong Is the lesson you will learn I'll let God be your judge It's not my choice to make It's His to choose what you should do To pay for your mistakes.
