Orphan

Writing

Orphan, Abandoned, Child Would you be able to feel my pain?To understand what its likeTo be alone and afraidA cold and wet stranger left from spiteFrightened in the rainBeing an orphan, abandoned, childWith no parents to refrain The road I walk is jadedAnd cold without a sparkAnd though Ive been degradedI wont hide inside the dark I wasnt always just like thisThere are memories where there was blissI once had a grandma tooBut things worth havingAre even harder to lose So I set out all aloneWhile people would taunt and condoneThey may not understand meOr think Im just adolescenceThey may not like who I amOr think Im just a peasantBut someday I will make my markOn this spinning weary worldAnd in the endThank my GodFor the angels of this earth ¬ Trevor Hoen 2008
