Night Fear

Writing

Night Fear Whispers from a foggy field beckon my call. The man of the moon arises and brings on nightfall The sun slips, drowning from yesterdays rain. Sounds from the night air render the mundane. Bright eyes appear awaiting in their dusky hangouts. Growling, then a snarl...I jump up and about! I ran back to my dwelling where I made camp ground. I slammed my door, heart racing! I didn't make a sound. Finally, sheepishly I dragged myself onto my bed. Feeling insecure I pulled the covers over my head!
