Early In The Morning (a bear TAIL!) :)

Early in the Morning Early in the morning, before the sun lit the sky. Little Tulip began to wipe, the sleep from her eye. As she stretched her elfin legs, she let out a tiny sneeze. Then she noticed in the distance, the buzzing of some bees. With Mama Bear still a snoring, all curled up nice and snug. Tulip, sitting apart from her, curiously pawing at a slug. Then all of the sudden, Tulip heard a familiar rumble. While looking down at her belly, she took a clumsy stumble! Suddenly Mama Bear awoke, to the sound of Tulips bum, landing in the mud, Rolln round like a drum! Then Mama Bear let out, a yawn that was quite vast! Tulip, lets go a fishn, hurry up, well have a blast! The girls began to stroll, closer toward the Stream. Salmon were jumping EVERYWHERE! It was almost as big as a dream! Oh Mama, Tulip sighed, Thank-You so MUCH for bringing me! And, with that she began to run, Totally feeling so free! Mama Bear lifted her snout, as she took in the scent from the breeze. Wild flowers! Oh what a delight! Oh no, now she was going to sneeze!!! She knew it'd be nothn like Tulips, not quiet, as she would want. When Mama let this one out, she pretended to be nonchalant! Oh, goodness. Mama thought aloud, shed hoped the Salmon hadnt heard. She immediately sent Tulip that look, Not a peep, nor a sound, not a word! Mama Bear could plainly see, Tulips confusion was very clear. She knew she just couldnt keep still; The Salmon fleeing was her greatest fear! So, Mama softly whispered to her, Sweetie, please dont you fret, Just lean right here against me, then no longer youll appear as a threat! Tulip took her Mamas advice; she had to stand up in order to lean. Mama smiled at Tulips position, it actually made her look a bit mean! Soon they both were very happy, having fun was what they did best. When they were finished fishing, no longer would they be stressed. Their morning was just about over; theyd only one thing left to do. (For both girls were vegetarian, leaves and berries were all they would chew.) They knew they had to deliver, their new found friends back into the stream. It would be very hard for Tulip; shed have nothing left but the dream. On their way home, Tulip listened, to what her Mama had to say. "My dear, sweet little Tulip, you will always remember this day." A day with a stamp in her memory, the ink wouldnt ever fade. For here, just her and her Mama, Was the wonderful day they had made. RebeccaJeanine ¬ Copyright 2008 RebeccaJeanine71 (UN: rebeccajeanine at Writing.Com). All rights reserved. Description

This is a poem I wrote for a Picture Writing Prompt at Writing.Com :)! The picture was of a Mother Bear and her Baby Bear, they were both walkn' through a fresh stream of flowing water. I wish I could link this poem to this picture, but the picture was copy written, and I would of had to trace down the person who took the photo...well, I'm sure you know what I'm talkn' about :)!!! Enjoy!! It's a STORY POEM... :)

This is great. You should be writing children's books. I got another well deserved vote in today, but the system is making it rough.
I hope you guys can get more writers to join in.
