Description
This 3D Studio Max rendering is set completely in space. I wanted to refine my construction and texture skills. I had also wanted to experiment more with curved surfaces, detail, Editable Poly Mesh, Editable Poly Patch & Subdivision Surface modifiers. I used these techniques along with gradient & Fall-Off material editor special functions to achieve the ice formations floating about the scene. Lighting, reflective and transparency elements also played a large part.
