Description

This female Garden spider is the largest spider I've ever seen in the south. More than 4 1/2 inches long, she actually caught a salamander in her web last week!

This spider makes me nervous. I am thinking back when I was a child and ran into a web with a spider that looked like this staring me in the face. LOL!!!

Thank you...she was actually kind of nice! She held real still while I tacked construction paper up behind her, so that I could get this awesome shadow! I thought it was cool!
