SEASONS OF THE YEAR

SEASONS OF THE YEAR The worst season of the year is the fall, after the beautiful hot summer and having a ball. Things are dying, the leaves are falling, and the beautiful flowers are going away. It reminds me of death and destruction and it looks as though it will stay this way. To me winter is no better as things only get worse. Cold and misery is all I can verse. Winter always seems so long, and as for me I have to stay strong. Along come March, April, and May. Things start to turn green and flowers bud out. I start to feel better, everything starts to look better, and I feel I should shout. While I await the full blooms, and the trees oh so green, I can hardly wait for the beautiful scene. While the Summer seems so short and the beauty is there, I want it to last forever since I know it will soon all be bare.

Nice work...although I've always loved fall! I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Wouldn't it be boring if we all saw the world in the same way? I did enjoy your poem quit a lot!
