Description
In this 3D Studio Max rendering I have created a mansion. In a week I will add images of the interior of the mansion, as it is complete inside and out. The exterior and surrounding area are fairly simple. I used lighting effects with Target Directional Light and added fog to give a misty spooky appeal to the scene. Around the property I added a few trees and added Noise & Mesh Smooth Modifiers to the ground to give a more realistic and organic feel as you would find on a real surface. These effects are minor to not distract from the structure itself. I used a Turbo Smooth Modifier on the first floor of the mansion to give it a different effect then the second floor. Architectural, Ray Trace & Fall-Off Textures were used to provide slight reflection, refraction on the stained glass arch on the top of the structure. The Ray Trace & Fall-Off materials were used on the windows themselves to allow for light entering the windows. The effects you will observe when I add the mansion interior images in a few days.
