this song is about the feeling i have sometimes when it comes to making songs that i use it as a coping mechanism. the song talks about people who play music and sometimes have unrealistic goals as to where it might lead. also a line in the song where is that guy the one with the green guitar refers to the fact somethings changed i dont obsess over music or anything for that matter and i miss the passion i had for it miss the person i was while writing it. the guy with the green guitar comes from when i played at moes or for people they wouldnt say hey theres the guy from one man band aftermathofeden theyd say theres the guy with green guitar like songs that work on many levels .
