Description
This track is my jazz standard. It comes in at 1st place for most hard drive consumed. My inspiration was focused on composing in a standard style. After flipping through my real books, I noticed that I didn't have many tunes with more then a couple of suspension chord changes. So I added that to my form of composition list. I chose an even eighth and triplet feel for the head. Next, I started testing hook phrases. After deciding on the best hook I had no problems finishing the A and B sections. The C section took me a little while longer. I decided to use rhythm before pitch. The resulting sound is Strollin' Through.
