Plucking Daisies by Jean DeNio (2005) Two of us playing quietly in the sand… She’s plucking daisies into my hand, Saying “He loves me, he loves me not,” As I’m sitting, deep in thought. Together, watching white petals fall, As I’m silently remembering it all… Remembering back to when our eyes first met, What so deeply I felt then, I never will forget! Happiness, bubbling and blooming, recognition of his soul, An eternity I have looked and waited for him, I now know. Sadness, regretting that we are not together at this time, We are patiently waiting, two souls, his and mine. Though not right now, together one day we will be, Two souls forever linked in love, him and me. “Mommy, Mommy, watch!” interrupts my reverie, Breaking my thoughts, so I stop to watch and see. I’m smiling as she gently blows across my hand, And watch daisy petals drifting onto the sand.

..didn't fit. As for all these Shame votes I get them too. I think its some that are 2nd rate & they just go thru & Shame everything that's any good.

I don't remember seeing this in the contest at all. & I would've voted for it as much as I could to bring you up into the running. Therefore I think I would've remembered it. The only late entry I didn't vote for was a photo of a baby that.
