If its larger than that, it could be a "nutting stone"! Hmmmmm....very interesting! I love your concept about the "Gargoyle Eggs" but the archeologist in me is all abuzz! Sorry...I can't help myself! lol!

I really think its a "discoidal". Is it about 3-4 inches across, and 1 1/2 inch thick...kind of flattened out, or better yet does one side look concave?
