Ugh I hate these things.
They zoom all around in the early evening in the summers in Phoenix.
This one had to be pushing 6 inches long and it was still kicking.
I took the pic from inside the house. It was on my patio.
Even the cats don't mess with them

I wish I would have put a soda can next to it to show its true size. But I was so grossed out I took this out the kitchen window

I can't believe they fly. Sometimes I have run back into the house when they are out in full force buzzing the area. It's just too creepy LOL

It looks like one of those "belly up, dead beetles" to me! 6 inches long is one BIG dead beetle! lol!
