This 4' goanna is tiny compared to the 8" one I stumbled on this morning; we ran in different directions!!

They live here all the time; especially since our acreage is on the border of the state forest. You dont hardly ever get them in town.

They do bite, but arnt venemous, it's just that their mouths are so full of bacteria that you get badly infected. I worry about Lulu the cat, around these things.
