Description
This is actually one of the first drawings I have completed using charcoal. I decided to give it one more try before the end of the year. I must say it turned out quite nicely.
I love the texture of the mane, and the tension in the skin on the neck of the prey. Shading was fin, and used a little white charcoal ro bring out the spots on the neck and other highlights. I am dreaming in charcoal techniques now! Almost finished with another predator/prey type drawing, will post when complete.
