Description
The Hunger Games pin from the first book, I carved out of a 3' square and a half inch thick piece of balsa wood. I have to admit it is not the easiest wood to work with it breaks so easily. This was a present for my niece, she loves the book series and was really excited to see the movie, I had started working on it about two months ago, got somewhat halfway and decided to take a break, one week before the movie would come out I had to work on it almost every single day and finish it by Wednesday. I did, oh and painted it as well, I just wanted to see her when she saw it, I had to put a pin to the back because she wanted to wear it to the theater. The movie was good, even though I did not read the book which was what I used as a reference for the pin, hope you all like it, let me know what you think.
