Description
this is a watercolor painting I did with watercolor colored pencils. I used the technique of starting in the center, using the lightest color. I then used that same color to draw some short lines to show the direction of light. in the opposite corner, with the darkest color I planed to use I drew some opposite lines, I then used a slightly lighter color to sketch even further where the lighter shadows would fall. I then proceeded to draw my flower and leaves. finally to give it the "Painting" feel I used water working from the outside inward. occasionally while a section was wet I went back over it with some highlights with an appropriate watercolor colored pencil.
